PURPOSE: An auto brake system, an anti-theft system for vehicles by using an idle restriction system, and a method thereof are provided to maximize an anti-theft performance because a theft cannot drive the vehicle by turning off the ignition of the vehicle when the vehicle is stolen. CONSTITUTION: An auto break system, an anti-theft system for vehicles by using an idle restriction system comprise a theft sensing unit (10), an auto brake driving unit (30), an engine driving unit (40), and a control unit (50). The auto brake driving unit drives or unlocks a brake of the vehicle. The engine driving unit starts or stops an engine of the vehicle. The control unit controls the auto brake driving unit and drives the brake when the vehicle is recognized in a state where the vehicle is stolen in the theft sensing unit or controls the engine driving unit and turns off the ignition.
