PURPOSE: A touch panel is provided to form a dummy capacitance between electrode lines, thereby reducing a differential signal off-balance due to the fluctuation of a dielectric material. CONSTITUTION: A touch panel multiple Y electrode lines (RX), multiple X electrode lines (TX), and a dummy capacitance electrode (dummy TX). The Y electrode lines and the X electrode lines mutually intersect. The dummy capacitance electrode is formed at one outer peripheral region of a touch screen in the intersection direction of the Y electrode lines so that a dummy capacitance is formed between the same and the Y electrode line. Voltage applied to the dummy capacitance electrode is varied from ground voltage to power voltage. The dummy capacitance electrode is formed on a glass plate. The dummy capacitance is formed on a plate on which a coupling capacitance at an intersection point between the X and the Y electrode line is formed. |
