A method and an apparatus for the control information search of a terminal in a wireless communication system are provided. The method is characterized by: searching a first common search space (first CSS) for first-type system information transmitted by a base station; receiving a radio resource control (RRC) message by establishing an RRC connection with the base station on the basis of the first-type system information; and searching a second common search space for second-type system information insofar as the second common search space has been configured by the RRC message.
