According to the present invention there is provided a method of processing rice oil comprising the steps of, removing one or more phosphorus compounds from the rice oil (degumming); heating the rice oil to a temperature of between 200°C- 260°C; applying a pressure of between 0,1 - 1 kgf/cm2 to the rice oil (distilling); extracting a by-product from the rice oil. |
