<p>Provided is a vehicle drive device configured to be compact in the axial direction. Using an outer-rotor type electric motor (MG), two motive power transmission channels can be configured, including a first motive power transmission channel (PASS1) for outputting motive power from the inner periphery of a rotor (28), and a second motive power transmission channel (PASS2) for outputting motive power from the outer side of the rotor (28). Therefore, it is also possible to provide gear shift mechanisms (inner planetary gear device (12), outer planetary gear device (16)) to the inner and outer sides of the rotor (28), for example, and a vehicle drive device (10) can therefore be configured to be compact in the axial direction.</p> |
