<p>The invention relates to a shielded draining pipe mesh (1) for mounting on a surface and for being covered by shotcrete (7). The pipes (2) are U-shaped in cross section with an open side facing the surface. The pipe (2) is provided with a shield (6) that covers die open side, where die shield dissolves when exposed to water. The pipe remains enclosed while applying shotcrete, but the shield (6) men dissolves and fully exposes the pipe interior. In one embodiment die pipe (2) is provided with side bands (3a-b) extending along either side of the edges of die pipe at its open side, where the shield is attached to the side bands giving additional mechanical strength. The shield (6) may be constituted by a film made from PVA- plastic.</p> |
