<p>The method involves performing heating under a to-be-formed sheet (2) by a heating unit i.e. halogen lamp (130), after rise in temperature, where the heating unit is thermally isolated by a thermal insulation box (120) arranged in a frame (110) that includes a positioning unit (112) for positioning the sheet. Constant temperature is maintained throughout incremental forming of the sheet, where the sheet is surrounded by a peripheral die (116).
