<p>Provided is an electrical connector which allows a housing and a contact section to be displaced in parallel with respect to the surface of a mounting circuit board without providing a reinforcement plate separate from the contact. A base section (21) of a contact (2) is provided along the upper face of a base section (31) of a housing (3). A mounting-side elastic section (23) of the contact (2) is provided along the lower face of the base section (31) of the housing (3). A folding section (24) of the contact (2) is provided at the back of the base section (31) of the housing (3), and connects the base section (21) and one end of the mounting-side elastic section (23). First and second connection leg sections (25, 26) extend downwards from the other end of the mounting-side elastic section (23), and form mounting points to a circuit board at a position where the tip side of the contact is divided in the front/back directions. A section to be housed (251) of the first connection leg section (25) of the contact (2) is housed in a gap between the lower face of the base section (31) of the housing (3) and a cover section (315).</p> |
