<p>PURPOSE: A molten carbonate fuel cell is provided to decrease the number of parts by dispensing with a separator, to reduce cost greatly, and to shorten launch time. CONSTITUTION: A molten carbonate fuel cell comprises a main body of a tube (11) with a plurality of holes on the tube surface; a first electrode installed around the tube surface of the main body of the tube; an electrolyte plate (15) for holding electrolyte in contact with the first electrode; and a second electrode in a tube form for holding the electrolyte plate in contact with the electrolyte plate. Power is generated by conducting an electrochemical reaction of providing oxidant gas or fuel gas into the main body of the tube while providing oxidant gas or fuel gas to the second electrode.</p> |
