A refresh cycle set up method at a CPF is provided to reduce use of fuel which is used up in order to reach even the regeneration temperature. A refresh cycle set up method at a CPF comprises a step(S310) which saves the ash amount by using the base map; a step(S320) which determines whether it is the ash learning zone or not; a step(S330) which calculates the study value through the ash learning if it is the ash learning zone; a step(S340) summing the calculated ash amount as described above and study value and determines the final ash amount; a step(S350) amended with monolith is the ionized water CPF one piece differential pressure correction value in the final ash amount; a step(S360) amending the differential pressure which is the soot amount definition map of the condition that there is no ash in the final ash amount; a step(S370) comparing the monolith correction, present, an amount of soot and the regeneration target amount calculated through the differential pressure map correction; and a step(S380) starting the regeneration. |
