<p>The method involves modulating a set point temperature of a heating element during functioning of a gas probe by an interior resistance of the heating element, by periodic variation of the set point temperature around a preset value and by sinusoidal variation of the set point temperature. Total pressure is determined from resulting pumping current with respect to the set point temperature. The measured total pressure is utilized for exploitation of a signal of the gas probe to determine a magnitude characterizing a measurement gas i.e. air. An independent claim is also included for a method for measuring temperature of a gas probe.</p> |
