PURPOSE: A device to break wood blocks for drying ships is provided to minimize a work space by forming a main body in a predetermined shape, moving the same from both sides in a longitudinal direction of the wood block, and fixing the same on the bottom. CONSTITUTION: A device to break wood blocks for drying ships comprises a main body (100) and a height control unit (200). Upper and lower frames (110,120) are formed on the plane in the main body. The height control unit is installed between the upper and lower frames of the main body and controls the height of the upper frame. The height control unit comprises a breaking operation unit (300) and a horizontal transfer unit. The breaking operation unit includes a breaking blade (310) installed in a shape crossing both upper sides of a transfer guide board (111) of the upper frame. The horizontal transfer unit is formed in order that the breaking operation unit is transferred forwards and backwards along the transfer guide board of the upper frame and breaks the wood block.
