PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for dropping liquid crystal are provided to prevent the contamination of the liquid crystal by having the time for hardening a sealant. CONSTITUTION: A stage (30) supports a substrate. An air nozzle (50) is located above the substrate. The air nozzle supplies compressed air to liquid crystal dropped on the substrate. The temperature of the compressed air is -40 to 0 °C. The injection pressure of the air nozzle is 0.5 kg/cm^2 or less.
