<p>PURPOSE: A system and method for implementing a three-dimensional user interface (UI) are provided to easily operate with selecting a three-dimensional graphic without complicated processes. CONSTITUTION: A system for implementing a three-dimensional user interface (UI) includes an input device, a calculating device, and an output device (300). The input device collects information about the positions and the perpendicular directions of points (111,121,131,141,151,161) on a three-dimensional object. The calculating device processes the positions and the perpendicular directions from the input device. The output device outputs a three-dimensional virtual space (210) set up by the calculating device. The calculating device processes the positions and the perpendicular directions of the points, sets up virtual points corresponding to the points in the virtual space, and forms a three-dimensional selection region having the virtual points in the virtual space.</p> |
