PURPOSE: A dual-mode terminal and a roaming service method for the same are provided to stably offer a data call service as well as a voice call service to a user even if a wideband code division multiple access (WCDMA) type overseas network provides a long term evolution (LTE) network and a simultaneous voice and LTE (SVLTE) mode terminal is put into a roaming service of the corresponding overseas network. CONSTITUTION: A reselection performing part (140) receives information about a new network through a network information receiving part. The reselection performing part performs network reselection for a new network corresponding to the received information. A service performing part (150) provides a data call service through the new network reselected by the reselection performing part. If a voice call is attempted, the service performing part provides a voice call service by switching from the reselected new network to a second old network by using a transition service method mode-changed by a mode change part.
