PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil separator supplying a separated oil content from being taken into passing air.SOLUTION: An oil separator 3 separates an oil content and recovers the same by making air containing the oil content introduced into the casing 11 collide with a collision plates 34, 35. The oil separator 3 is constituted of the collision plates 34, 35 and a space, and has expanding chambers 31, 32 having a lateral cross-section area than an introducing opening 14, a drain reservoir 50 for storing the separated oil content in the lower parts of the expanding chambers 31, 32, and a drain communication section 45 having a drain communication hole 46 bringing the expanding chambers 31, 32 into communication with the drain reservoir 50. |
