PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal and a control method therefor, enabling promptly coping with loss and theft.SOLUTION: A mobile terminal 1 includes a radio communication unit 11, an operation unit 12, a communication decision unit 13 and an execution unit 14. The radio communication unit 11 communicates with a base station. The communication decision unit 13 decides whether communication is performed between the radio communication unit 11 and the base station. When it is decided that communication with the base station is not performed for a predetermined time, the execution unit 14 executes a loss mode to make the mobile terminal 1 execute preset operation, irrespective of the operation of the operation unit 12. |
