PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for precisely predicting a conservation state which will be required in the future for each part of die.SOLUTION: A method for predicting die conservation includes a step for defining a plurality of sections which are obtained by virtually dividing a die into respective parts, a step for obtaining shape data of the die for each section, and a conservation state prediction step for predicting future conservation states at a part of the die corresponding to a section based on the obtained shape data, for each section. Preferably, the method further includes a step for obtaining manufacture condition data when manufacturing a product by using the die for each section. The conservation state prediction step predicts a future conservation state at a part of the die corresponding to a section based on the obtained shape data and manufacture condition data, for each section. |
