PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress deviation of a scan position arising from a temperature difference between optical scanning devices, and perform a next image forming operation without delay.SOLUTION: An image formation device 1 provided with a plurality of optical scanning devices 24. In a case where an image targeted for image formation is a monochrome image and a next image targeted for image formation is a bicolor image, at a time when an operation of image-forming the monochrome image is completed, when it is determined that a temperature condition where a maximum of a temperature difference between a temperature detected by one optical scanning device 24K and temperatures detected by unused optical scanning devices 24Y, 24M and 24C exceeds over a first temperature difference is satisfied, the image formation device 1 drives a motor 66K of the one optical scanning device 24K at a second rotary velocity V2 slower than a first rotary velocity V1 which is a rotary velocity upon operating the image formation, and also drives motors 66Y, 66M and 66C of the unused optical scanning devices 24Y, 24M and 24C at a third rotary velocity V3 faster than the second rotary velocity V2. |
