PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power-supply device that enhances power-supply efficiency while having a simple circuit structure.SOLUTION: A power-supply device 100 includes: a current-path switching section 41 that switches paths of an AC current; a first boost chopper section 421 and a second boost chopper section 422 that convert a voltage inputted from the current-path switching section 41; a smoothing capacitor C1 that is connected between output terminals of the first boost chopper section 421 and the second chopper section 422 and the ground, and smooths a voltage; and a drive control section 7 that interleavingly drives the first boost chopper section 421 and the second boost chopper section 422. The drive control section 7 outputs a current-path switching signal Ss according to the polarity of the AC power-supply Vac to the current-path switching section 41 to switch the paths of the AC current. |
