PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accomplish a conductor wire with which an unwanted object that is generated in fusing processing is prevented from being dropped from the conductor wire.SOLUTION: A conductor wire 3 with a crimping terminal is configured by crimping a crimping terminal 1 to a conductor wire 2 through fusing processing. The conductor wire 2 comprises a conductor strand bundle 22 and thermoplastic insulative coating 23 coating the surroundings of the conductor strand bundle 22. The insulative coating 23 is provided to be relatively movable to the conductor strand bundle 22. The crimping terminal 1 includes a tubular part 12 in which a distal end portion of the conductor wire 2 is accommodated, an opening part 13 which is formed in one end portion of the tubular part 12 in an axial direction, and through which the conductor wire 2 is inserted, and a diameter reduced part 14 which is formed continuously in an end portion of the tubular part 12 confronted with the opening part 13 in the axial direction. The diameter reduced part 14 is formed in such a manner that a minimum inner diameter of the diameter reduced part 14 becomes smaller than an inner diameter of the insulative coating 23 in the state where the cross section thereof is circular. |
