PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multilayer cell culture system to which access is limited.SOLUTION: There are provided a multilayer cell culture device 110 having a rectangular installation area, and having multiple cell culture chambers 111 separated through air tube spaces 118, wherein each of the cell culture chambers has a port 120 and a port cover 121 or an external manifold structured and arranged to reduce the risk of pollution and enable the movement of a fluid to the inside and outside of the cell culture device; and a method for using the device. The multilayer cell culture device includes at least three cell culture chambers each having at least one port, at least two integrated air tube spaces, and slide type port covers which are engaged with the ports and structured and arranged to provide opened or closed ports. |
