PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the fluctuation of a gas pressure in an outlet small in a multistage compressor.SOLUTION: In a multistage high pressure compressor mainly comprising a main pipe 2 in which at least two compressors 4, 5 having drive devices 9, 10 of their own are installed in series and opens to a buffering device 3 and having a means 7 for deciding a pressure in the outlet of the main pipe 2 and connected to a control panel 8, the control panel 8 is connected to the at least two drive devices 9, 10 of the compressors 4, 5, the control panel 8 controls the compressors 4, 5 such that all these compressors are operated in a loading condition or a nonloading condition and these compressors compress air of the same mass per unit time, and the control panel 8 drives each of the compressors 4, 5 according to a driving speed of the compressor 5 serving a final high pressure stage. |
