THE APPARATUS OF CHANGES IN EFFECTIVE VOLUME OF HIGHLY PRESSURIZED GAS CYLINDERS AND MEASUREMENT METHOD USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A high-pressure gas cylinder volume change measuring device and a volume change measuring method using the same are provided to measure a change in the density of water inside a water tank and to reduce errors possible to be generated when measuring a volume by compensating the density of the water with consideration with a material of a container and a kind of gas. CONSTITUTION: A method for measuring a change in the volume of a high-pressure gas cylinder (102) includes the following steps of: inserting a high-pressure gas cylinder filled with gas into a water tank (101) filled with water; measuring the water level inside the water tank and measuring the temperature of the water after thermally balancing the gas inside the high-pressure gas cylinder and the water inside the water tank; exhausting the gas from the high-gas cylinder; measuring the change in the volume of the water inside the water tank and the temperature; and measuring an effective volume change of the high-pressure gas cylinder based on the measurement value.
