PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an awning with a vibration damping drive device.SOLUTION: An awning includes: two holding brackets (1) which are disposed on a foundation member and rotatably mount a tent curtain shaft (3) therebetween; an awning tent curtain (4) which is wound on the tent curtain shaft (3) and released from the tent curtain shaft (3); a motor drive device (5) for rotating the tent curtain shaft which is incorporated in the tent curtain shaft (3) and mounted to one of the holding brackets (1) so as to be vibration-damped; and a vibration insulation device (50) which is disposed completely inside the tent curtain shaft (3) and between the motor drive device (5) and the holding bracket (1). The vibration insulation device (50) includes: a supporting head (11) which fixes the motor drive device (5) so as to resist rotation; a radial damping member (16) made of a flexible vibration damping material which is reliably engaged with the supporting head (11) in the rotational direction; and a mounting head (19) which is unrotatably mounted to the holding bracket (1) and reliably engaged with the radial damping member (16) in the rotational direction. |
