PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positive electrode material for a sodium secondary battery, a manufacturing method thereof, a sodium secondary battery electrode using the positive electrode material for a sodium secondary battery, a nonaqueous sodium secondary battery having the sodium secondary battery electrode and an electric device having a nonaqueous sodium secondary battery incorporated therein which allow the achievement of an excellent charge/discharge capacity and an excellent capacity-keeping rate.SOLUTION: The positive electrode material for a sodium secondary battery comprises: a transition metal oxide solid solution having a crystal structure of a space group R-3 m (No.166). The positive electrode material has lattice constants which satisfy the conditions of 2.80≤a≤3.00 Å and 16.0≤c≤16.6 Å, and diffraction peaks of (003)plane and (104)plane which meet the condition of 1.1≤I(104)/I(003)≤1.3. |
