PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a droplet forming device and the like effectively improving productivity of droplets or microcapsules.SOLUTION: A droplet forming device 4 constituting a droplet forming device includes a plurality of continuous phase flow paths 11, 12 for circulating a liquid continuous phase material 100. Furthermore, the droplet forming device 4 includes a single dispersion phase flow path 10 circulating a liquid dispersion phase material 200. THen, the droplet forming device 4 includes a communicating flow path 13. The communicating flow path 13 makes the dispersion phase flow path 10 communicate with each of the continuous phase flow paths 11, 12 via communication ports 133, 134, respectively, and form liquid droplets 201 of the liquid dispersion phase material 200 by shearing force of the continuous phase material 100 at the communication ports 133, 134. Thus, the dispersion phase flow path 10 is used in common by the continuous phase flow paths 11, 12, and the liquid droplets 201 of the dispersion phase material 200 flowing from the single dispersion phase flow path 10 respectively are formed at the plurality of continuous phase flow paths 11, 12. |
