PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an irbesartan-containing pharmaceutical composition which shows excellent elution properties, and to provide an irbesartan-containing orally disintegrable tablet having excellent characteristics such that it (1) can be easily produced in general facilities without requiring any special formulation technology, (2) has moderate strength for preventing disintegration during distribution, (3) shows rapid disintegration in oral cavity, (4) shows good elution properties and (5) exerts good organoleptic properties at taking.SOLUTION: There are provided an irbesartan-containing pharmaceutical composition comprising at least one binder selected from hydroxypropyl cellulose and polyvinyl alcohol. An orally disintegrable tablet comprises (1) D-mannitol, (2) irbesartan, (3) at least one disintegrant chosen from crospovidon and carmellose, (4) at least one binder selected from hydroxypropyl cellulose and polyvinyl alcohol and (5) at least one lubricant selected from sodium stearyl fumarate and sucrose fatty acid ester. |
