PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique such that progress of specification of an area of interest can be viewed during screening and operation efficiency of image observation can be improved.SOLUTION: List information is generated in which data on positions on a plurality of areas of interest that a user specifies on an image and the order of specification are related and described. Once a user specifies a new area of interest, an image data generation device generates data for displaying a mark indicative the position of the newly specified area of interest and a traffic line connecting the position of the last specified area of interest and the position of the newly specified area of interest over the display image.
