PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crystal growth method, wherein damages in a reaction vessel mounted in a pressure-resistant container can be prevented with a simple method.SOLUTION: A reaction vessel 2 that is filled with a raw material 5 and a first solvent and is sealed, a second solvent, the spacers 18 and 19 insoluble in the second solvent are put in a pressure-resistant container 1, and then the pressure-resistant container is sealed. Thereafter, in the presence of a supercritical and/or subcritical solvent, crystal growth is conducted in the reaction vessel. The volume of the spacer changes reversibly according to change of a pressure and temperature. |
