PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to concretely understand a program content at an apparatus on the opposite communication party and to easily determine whether or not a recorded program is necessary at the apparatus on the opposite communication party.SOLUTION: A data analyzer 16 in a video recording unit 14 extracts data of portions regarded as being important from the content data of a recorded program, according to a predetermined importance degree extraction condition. A notification content generator 20 acquires from a data receiver 12 information related to the content data from a predetermined information provision service, and using the information, extracts the data of the portions regarded as being important from the recorded content data. The notification content generator 20 integrates the portions regarded as being important using a predetermined weight, determines a portion regarded as being important to be notified to a user, and transmits the image data of the portion by including it in summary information to a device used by the user. |
