PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrochemical reactor which can artificially generate carbon and oxygen from carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide, and to provide a method for producing carbon and an oxygen gas using the same.SOLUTION: An electrochemical reactor includes: an anode electrode 1 containing ruthenium and an yttria-stabilized zirconia; a cathode electrode 2 containing nickel and an yttria-stabilized zirconia; and a porous electrolyte membrane 3 provided between the anode electrode 1 and the cathode electrode 2 and containing an yttria-stabilized zirconia. |
