PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve holding properties to avoid a camera-shake photograph and to release a shutter with a right hand without missing a photo opportunity.SOLUTION: A camera with a self-photographing function includes: a camera body 10; a monitor portion 20 which displays a live-view image; a rotary support portion 30 which supports the monitor portion rotatably on the camera body, and can direct a display portion of the monitor portion to a subject; a state detection portion 31 which detects the monitor portion being directed to the subject; a shutter release alternative portion 40 which is provided to the monitor portion and can have an original function and a shutter release detecting function set; and a function setting portion 61 which sets the shutter release alternative portion to the shutter release detecting function when the state detection portion detects a self-photographing state. |
