PURPOSE: A galvanized steel sheet having excellent plating properties and plating adhesion properties and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to restrain the surface thickening and oxidation of Si, Mn, and Al which are plating retarding elements in annealing steel. CONSTITUTION: A galvanized steel sheet having excellent plating properties and plating adhesion properties includes a substrate steel sheet(1), multiple grooves, a metal filling part, and a plating layer(3). The grooves are formed on the surface of the substrate steel sheet. The metal filling part fills the grooves. The variation of Gibbs energy per one mole of oxygen in the oxidation reaction of metal in the metal filling part is over the variation of Gibbs energy per one mole of oxygen in the oxidation reaction of Mn.
