The knife (1) has a sound-absorbing cover disk (6) covering a rear side (5) of the knife, where the knife rear side is connected with an electric drive over a shaft and/or a gear wheel. The cover disk is designed in an annular shape and coaxially surrounds a central drive location on the knife rear side. The cover disk is made from metal and/or plastic and glued on the knife, where thickness (D2) of the cover disk amounts to a range from half to twice of thickness (D1) of the knife. The cover disk is coated with polyethylenes or stainless steel or Teflon (RTM: PTFE).
