PURPOSE: An energy management method and an energy management system using the same are provided for a user to effectively manage energy. CONSTITUTION: An energy management system comprises an energy detecting part (110), a wasted power detecting part (120), an operation information collecting part (130), a display part (140), and a storing part (150). The wasted power detecting part detects the wasted energy of each device. An operation information collecting part collects the operation information of each device. According to the display unit is the request of the user, the energy information is indicated to the user. The display part displays the energy information to a user according to the request of the user. The storing part stores the amount of energy consumption of each device or wasted amount of energy of each device.
