摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation detection device and manufacturing method therefor capable of preventing a signal transmission member, etc. from being deviated or exposed and also capable of keeping a manufacturing cost low.SOLUTION: A rotation detection device includes: a rotation detection part 18 for detecting the rotation state of a rotation body and outputting a rotation detection signal; a signal transmission member 11 electrically connected to the rotation detection part 18 and transmitting a rotation detection signal to an external device 50; and an internal structure 13 having a rib formation part 13a, which includes multiple ribs 14 formed to have contact with an outer peripheral surface of the signal transmission member 11 and to extend outward in a radial direction, and integrally resin-molded by holding the signal transmission member 11 and the rotation detection part 18. At least one of exposure portions 11d for exposing the signal transmission member 11 to the outside of the internal structure 13 is arranged in the rib formation part 13a within the formation range of the multiple ribs 14 in the axial direction of the internal structure 13. Deviation and exposure are prevented and also a manufacturing cost is kept low.
