PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber cable which has excellent flexibility, and can suppress a loss due to bending of an optical fiber caused by shrinkage of a sheath under low temperature.SOLUTION: An optical fiber cable includes a plurality of optical fibers 11, an inner layer sheath 12 directly covering the peripheries of the plurality of optical fibers 11, a tension layer 13 composed of tension fiber covering the periphery of the inner layer sheath 12, and an outer layer sheath 14 covering the periphery of the tension layer 13 and applied with compressive strain in a cable longitudinal direction. |
