PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which suppresses deformation volume of a seal member when a unit is attached or detached and prevents toner leakage at a toner transfer part by a simple construction.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 1 comprises a developing container 72 which discharges conveyed developer from a developer discharge port 74 and a collected toner container 100 which receives the developer discharged from the developer discharge port 74 via a developer reception port 101, and the developing container 72 or the developer reception port 101 is provided to the image forming apparatus in a detachable manner. The developer discharge port 74 of the developing container 72 or the developer reception port 101 of the collected toner container 100 comprises a hollow seal member 105 which is inserted in a gap between the developer discharge port 74 and the developer reception port 101 and makes the developer discharge port 74 and the developer reception port 101 communicate with each other. The seal member 105 is constituted by laminating an upper elastic member 107, a lower elastic member 109 and a sheet material 108 which is held between the upper elastic member 107 and the lower elastic member 109. |
