PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a portable information communication device with a GPS function, especially, a portable information communication device with the GPS function in the size of a palm or smaller such as a mobile phone and a PHS to be used for vehicle navigation, and to further allow a user to perform an operation in this instance or read a map image.SOLUTION: A portable information communication device is configured to comprise: radio communication means for receiving a GPS signal; storage means for storing a program and a data file; data processing means for generating a digital display signal of an own position map image by processing the GPS signal and map information data on the basis of the program; and display means for displaying the own position map image on the basis of the digital display signal. The portable information communication device is configured to further comprise interface means A1 to which a peripheral device accompanied by external display means is connected and which transmits an external display signal to the peripheral device on the basis of the digital display signal. |
