PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device capable of accurately making mass measurement regardless of the amount of mass by exerting acceleration suitable for mass of an object on the object in a suitable direction.SOLUTION: A mass measurement device 100 includes a storage unit 49 which stores a suitable acceleration value for each mass measurement range as an applicable acceleration value. A control unit 40 reads from the storage unit 49 an applicable acceleration value corresponding to a mass measurement range entered from an input unit 7, exerts the applicable acceleration on an object Q via a robot arm 3, and reads an output of a force sensor 1. As such, the mass measurement device 100 moves an object with large acceleration when the mass of the object is small, and moves the object with small acceleration when the mass of the object is large, thereby providing accurate mass measurement regardless of the amount of mass with one device. |
