The method involves providing a carrier film layer (10), and forming an electrical circuit path structure (20) on a surface of the carrier film layer by pressing a pressable, hardenable electrical conductive composition e.g. conductive paste or conductive paint. The composition is hardened. The surface of the electrical circuit path structure is smoothened by a flat press step. The carrier film layer with the electrical circuit path structure is calendered at a spacing of calender rolls larger than thickness of the carrier film layer during calendering. An independent claim is also included for a valuable and/or security document.
