The device (1) has a pipe line portion (2) for an exhaust gas flow (4), comprising a projection (17) with an aperture (31) for mounting a feeding device (7) for feeding liquid additive i.e. AdBlue (RTM: aqueous urea solution), in a line segment (30) of the pipe line portion. The projection has an extension (33) that is twice as large as height (32) of the projection. Disk shaped honeycomb bodies (6) are respectively arranged at an entry end (3) and an exit end (5) of the pipe line portion. A center axis (34) of the aperture is aligned to one of the honeycomb bodies. An independent claim is also included for a motor car.
