PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a canister fixed to a panel member such as partition wall, which can prevent vibration due to the propagation of pulsation in an intake system without causing complication of a structure and increase in time and effort for assembling.SOLUTION: A volume chamber 11 for covering a purge port 7 is integrally provided to a body case 5 of a canister 1, and the volume chamber 11 is connected with a purge passage 13. Since pulsation propagated through the purge passage 13 is attenuated and eliminated in the volume chamber 11, vibration of a partition wall 4 through the canister 1 and occurrence of unpleasant noise can be prevented. Since the volume chamber 11 is integrally provided to the body case 5, no requirement of a bracket for fixing and no increase in assembling man-hours can be expected. Since the volume chamber 11 is situated apart from an engine, the pulsation can be effectively eliminated despite small capacity thereof. |
