The stacker has guide elements i.e. bars (2), upwardly extending from a base element and defining a stack space for stacking cups. One of the guide elements is movably arranged in relation to a base element such that distance between a guide surface of the movable guide element and a guide surface of the adjacent and/or opposite guide element is variable for adaptation to different size cups by movement of the guide element in two dimensions in a direction that extends along a plane defined by a plane of the base element. The base element is formed in form of a base plate (1).
