PURPOSE: A power switching device minimizes the delay of the take-off and landing of an aircraft by handling the cut-off power of the runaway light with rapid control. CONSTITUTION: A power switching device (100) of a runway light includes a power terminal member (200), a power switching member (300), and a driving member (400). The power terminal member includes a terminal connected to a main constant current regulator (CCR) circuit receiving main power and an auxiliary CCR circuit in an idle state. The power switching member is combined with the power terminal member and mechanically switches the terminal of the main CCR circuit and the terminal of the auxiliary CCR circuit. The driving member is connected to the power switching member and generates driving power for driving the power switching member. A remote switch controls the driving member from a remote place. The power switching device supplies the power of a runway light leading the take-off and landing of an aircraft at the runway in the airport through the switching of the CCR circuit.
