摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding-type tripod constant velocity joint in which cost and weight of a retainer can be reduced by reducing a load received by the retainer from needles and an outer ring.SOLUTION: An intermediate member 40 is rockably disposed on an outer periphery of a tripod shaft 22. Shaft-like rolling elements 50 are held by a retainer 60 in such a manner that the rolling elements can circulate on an outer periphery of the intermediate member 40 and can roll between a side face 163 of a raceway groove 16 of an outer ring 10 and a torque transmission face 41 of the intermediate member 40. A raceway recess 18 extending in a direction of the rotation axis of the outer ring is formed on the side face 163 of the raceway groove 16. The shaft-like rolling element 50 is fitted into the raceway groove 18 and can roll along a bottom face 18a of the raceway groove 18. The retainer 60 is disposed outside the raceway groove 18.
