PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discharge liquid accumulated in a cap member without spilling the liquid after the liquid has been discharged from a droplet jetting head to the cap member.SOLUTION: A switching unit 23 switches the communication of an air introducing connection part 42a connected to a cap part 21a and an air communication hole 43a by a communication groove 67 and the blocking of the air introducing connection part 42a and the air communication hole 43a by a blocking groove 66 partitioned by a partition wall 66a. A nozzle 10 is covered by the cap part 21a to connect a suction connection part 41a connected to the cap part 21a and a suction pump 24, and the suction pump 24 is driven while the air introducing connection part 42a and the air communication hole 43a are blocked. Thus, the ink accumulated in the cap 21a is discharged by driving the suction pump 24 while the air introducing connection part 42a and the air communication hole 43a are communicated after purge in which ink in the inkjet head 4 is discharged from the nozzle 10 has been performed. |
