PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a backlight device with excellent light emitting quality capable of preventing a distance between a reflection sheet and a light guide plate from being changed even if a light emitting face is enlarged, and provide a display device and a television receiving apparatus using this.SOLUTION: In a backlight device 3 provided with a light emitting diode (a light source) 5, a light guide plate 7 including an incident face 7a to which light from the light emitting diode 5 enters, a light emitting face 7b emitting the light toward a liquid crystal panel (an irradiated object) 2 side, and an opposite face 7c opposed to the light emitting face 7b, a reflection sheet 8 which is arranged on an opposite face 7c side of the light guide plate 7 and reflects the light to an inner part side of the light guide plate 7, an adhesive agent layer (a maintenance part) 9 is arranged between these reflection sheet 8 and the opposite face 7c so that the reflection sheet 8 and the opposition face 7c of the light guide plate 7 may be maintained with a prescribed distance. |
