PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve high speed travel performance, while securing wet performance.SOLUTION: A pneumatic tire includes inclined grooves slantingly extending toward outsides in the tire axis direction from circumferential directional grooves arranged on both sides of a tire equatorial surface and breaking off on insides more than tread grounding ends, and first and second lug grooves arranged between the inclined grooves. The first and second lug grooves slantingly extend by going over the tread grounding ends from inner ends separated from the circumferential directional grooves. The first lug groove is 8-12% of a tread grounding width in a distance La from the circumferential directional groove to its inner end, and forms a dog leg shape of having a steep inclined part extending in a steeper inclination than the inclined groove from the inner end and a gentle inclined part of extending in a gentler inclination than the steep inclined part. The second lug groove extends in substantially parallel to the gentle inclined part. |
